CNC/Honing/Grinding Machine Operator

P ay: $18–$30 Entry level to 2 years experience (open for negotiation for set-up and programmer) 

Shifts: 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (preferred) or 2nd Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Location: Arlington Heights, IL

Type: Temp to Hire

They are expanding their operations, and are seeking CNC / Grinder Machine Operators to join their  team. Both experienced and entry level candidates are encouraged to apply. 

In this role, your responsibilities include setting up and operating CNC and/or Manual ID grinding machines, ensuring precise and accurate grinding of components to meet our customers' rigorous quality standards. Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate OD or ID grinding machines to produce precision components according to drawings and specifications
• Monitor machine operation to ensure quality standards are met and make necessary adjustments as needed.
• Inspect finished products for accuracy, conformance to specifications, and overall quality.
• Communicate with the leads and quality control teams to resolve any issues related to production or product quality.
• Work with team members to achieve production goals and deadlines.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications: 

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a CNC and/or manual ID grinder, entry level candidates with manufacturing experience are also encouraged to apply. 
• Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
• Fundamental understanding of basic math skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Have an understanding of various tools and gages relevant to the industry.
• Ability to stand on your feet for extended periods during the workday.
