Commercial Real Estate Agent

Position Overview

RES Commercial Corp is seeking a motivated, entrepreneurial Commercial Real Estate Agent to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will develop new business, build relationships with landlords, tenants, investors, and business owners, and manage commercial real estate transactions from prospecting through closing.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to and actively engage with inbound inquiries regarding properties available for lease or sale
• Develop and maintain relationships with property owners, tenants, investors, and business owners
• Represent clients in commercial leasing, sales, and investment transactions
• Conduct property tours, market research, and comparable property analysis
• Prepare presentations, proposals, and marketing materials
• Negotiate lease and sale terms on behalf of clients
• Manage transactions from initial prospecting through closing
• Generate new business through cold calling, networking, referrals, and direct outreach
• Stay informed on NYC commercial real estate trends and market conditions

Qualifications

• Commercial real estate experience is a plus, but not required
• Must have either:
• • A current NYS Real Estate Salesperson or Associate Broker license in good standing , or
  • Have taken or be scheduled to take the NYS Real Estate exam and be eligible to have RES Commercial sponsor the new license
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Highly motivated, competitive, and results-oriented
• Comfortable with cold calling and proactive business development
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• NYC commercial real estate experience is a plus

Compensation

100% Commission-based structure with significant earning potential , based on experience, production, and transaction volume.

Jeffrey Angel has more than a decade of experience working in the commercial real estate market in New York City. He began his career in 2001 at Coldwell Banker as a Retail & Restaurant Specialist. His immediate success at Coldwell Banker allowed him to start up his own commercial real estate company, Barclay Real Estate, in 2003. He grew Barclay Real Estate into a leading downtown firm, and, in 2006, merged the company with RES to form the RES Commercial division, which has grown into one of the premiere boutique commercial real estate firms in the city. Jeff has a deep understanding of the New York City real estate market and works tirelessly to help his clients achieve their goals.
